The first Golden Cruise of the season was a great success. The food, beer, and music were good, a respectable-sized group of riders showed up, and the storm held off till after the event. Dave Powers took a nice bunch of photos, which are posted on the Golden Civic Foundation’s facebook page.
The Planning Commission meets tonight at 6:30. They will discuss proposed urban renewal plans for both the Central Neighborhoods (the bowling alley) and the Parfet/Briarwood area on 8th Street. They will also conduct a public hearing regarding a new dormitory to be built on the CSM campus on 18th between Elm and Maple.
