Not too many city meetings scheduled this week, but the ones that will happen cover important topics.

If you missed last week’s traffic open houses, you have one last chance to come up to speed on issues regarding the Northwest Parkway. There’s a webinar scheduled today at 3. You need to reserve a spot ahead of time at this address:  https://www4.gotomeeting.com/register/276328903.

The Historic Preservation Board meets tonight at 7, at City Hall.  They will hold a public hearing regarding a change to the municipal code that would require owners of commercial buildings 50 years and older to submit any plans for alterations to the Board.  This may be a controversial change for the owners of those properties.

On Wednesday, the Planning Commission will hold a public hearing for a proposed 4-story, 99-unit apartment complex to be built on 8th Street.  At their last study session, they discussed amending or repealing the City’s 1% growth limit.
