Ridiculously many options tonight

The Mountaineering Museum is holding a Thirsty Thursday tonight from 5:30-8:30.  Gear, beer, music and free museum admission!  All ages are welcome.

The Astor House is hosting a lecture tonight, covering Golden’s history, from 6-7:30.

From 6:30-7:30, Foothills Art Center hosts a lecture about turning trash to glass, given by Professor Ivar Reimanis from the School of Mines.

The Colorado Scientific Society is sponsoring a lecture at 7, at the Mountaineering Center: Dr. Tom Barclay, NASA Ames Research Center and the Bay Area Environmental Research Institute will discuss The Search for Earth-like Planets.

Golden High School will perform Cinderella tonight, tomorrow, and Saturday nights at 7, plus a 2PM matinee on Saturday.

City Council has a study session tonight at 6:30.  They will finish interviewing candidates for the city’s various boards and commissions.  The meeting will be broadcast live on cable channel 8 and through the city’s website.
