Dinosaur Ridge is hosting one of their “Discovery Days” today from 10 – 2, with a focus on reptiles.  They will have live reptiles visiting from the Denver Zoo, Morrison Natural History Museum and Canyon Critters.  A section of the visitors center will also have exhibits and activities relating to extinct marine reptiles that swam Colorado millions of years ago.  Guides will be stationed along the walking trail to point out evidence of ancient dinosaurs and crocodiles.  Wild Wings will also be visiting, bringing with them live raptors, owls, and hawks (which are relatives of the meat-eating dinosaurs).  It should be interesting and a lot of fun, and it’s all free!

The Golden Farmers Market will run from 8-1 today at 10th and Illinois.  Come for breakfast or lunch and pick up fresh, locally grown food for the rest of the week.

This is the penultimate day for the Dale Chihuly exhibit at Foothills Art Center.  Don’t forget to bring the coupon we posted the other day.

The Railroad Museum is hosting their annual wine-tasting/train-riding event this evening.  See today’s Golden Business announcement for a coupon for that!
