Tonight is the last Movies & Music in the Park for 2016. The Moses Jones Band will start playing at 7PM and the movie will start at dusk. They’re showing Star Wars: the Force Awakens tonight–the newish one, with Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, and Harrison Ford. Let’s hope for no rain! Here’s the forecast.
The Jazz Cats will be playing from 6:30-8:30 at Windy Saddle. Jazz … unique American art form, key to which is “improvisation,” communication between performers and listeners, give-and-take between musicians over songs from the Great American Songbook. “The Jazz Cats” swing, playing “mainstream” jazz of the 1950’s.
