Today is the 93rd anniversary of the 19th Amendment, awarding women the right to vote in 1920. Tonight at 7, the League of Women Voters of Jefferson County will host a showing of Iron Jawed Angels at the Foss Auditorium. This 2004 movie stars Hilary Swank, Anjelica Huston, and Julia Ormond as activists in the women’s suffrage movement. It’s a good movie, it’s free, and the League of Women Voters is even providing free refreshments, so come on down! The Foss Auditorium is in the Mountaineering Center, 710 10th St.
