Next Saturday, the Golden Fire Department will be celebrating Safety and Preparedness Day. The community is invited to attend the seventh annual Safety and Preparedness Day, hosted by the Golden Fire Department and University of Colorado Burn Center. The event is free, and the entire family is encouraged to attend. People can take advantage of a car seat check station, live fire demonstration, face painting, and tours of fire trucks and ambulances. Refreshments will be available, and prizes will be given away. Next Saturday will also be the Be a Tool! Neighborhood Rehab Project (NRP) Day of Service. Join us for a day of serving in Golden along side community members; addressing warm, safe, dry, quality of life needs within our community. This is a family friendly event, all ages are welcome under the supervision of the adult that they register with. TODAY IS THE LAST DAY TO SIGN UP FOR THIS EVENT!
