The annual tour of the Golden Cemetery happens today, from 2 – 5:40 pm. Meet some of Golden’s most memorable citizens past and learn about their lives and deaths. The Golden Cemetery has just been designated as a state historical site, and is in progress to becoming a National Historic Site. Take a tour, and find out why it’s so interesting!
Tours start every 15 minutes, with 15-20 people per tour. Some tours will fill up, so don’t wait until the last tour of the day. The Golden History Museums host this event. Adult tickets are $12 for museum members and $15 for non-members. Youth and senior tickets are $7 (members) and $10 (non-members)..
