We have a great lecturer speaking at the Green Center (924 16th St., CSM Campus) tonight at 7.  Douglas Brinkley will discuss “Presidents and Energy Policy: From Theodore Roosevelt to Barack Obama.”

Mr. Brinkley is a scholar, author and sought-after news commentator. He is a professor of history and Baker Institute Fellow at Rice University, and has written books on Theodore Roosevelt, Franklin Roosevelt, John F. Kennedy, Jimmy Carter and Ronald Reagan. The Chicago Tribune deemed him “America’s new past master,” and five of his books have been selected as New York Times “Notable Books of the Year.”  The doors open at 6:30 and the lecture is free and open to the public.

There’s also a class on organic gardening tonight from 6-7 at Calvary Church (1320 Arapahoe Street).
