* The Santa Claus Special train will run from 10 till 4 at the Railroad Museum.
* Olde Golden Christmas on Parade will begin at 11 in Historic Downtown Golden.
* Foothills Art Center will be hosting a Kids’ “Salon,” with holiday themed face painting, temporary tattoos, hair styling, and nail art from 11 to 2. The cost is $10.
* Golden’s Victorian Carolers will perform along Washington Avenue from 11:30-1:30.
* Santa will be at Avenue Gifts from 12-3.
* The Visitors Center (10th and Washington) will be serving cookies, candy, and refreshments from 12-4.
* Newfoundland Dog Cart rides will be free for children from 12-3. You’ll find them at 12th and Jackson.
* Free horse-drawn carriage rides will be available from noon till 4.
* Windy Saddle will host a Fireside Family Night from 5:30-7:30. Local writer, singer, songwriter Tony Funderburk will entertain with music from his children’s CD collection. There will be a free cupcake walk for the kids, and a family-friendly one-pot meal will be available to feed the whole family.
