Last month, Miners Alley Playhouse hosted a comedy night, with several stand-up comedians. It was funny, and it was well-attended, and it was just a fun evening out. They’re doing it again tonight! Come down to Miners Alley at 8 tonight, have a drink, and enjoy some mid-week comedy.
Tomorrow night at 6:30, the Leadership Golden Alumni Association will present the City Council Candidate Forum. All four wards are up for election this fall. Only one of the three wards is contended. The candidates are:
Ward One: Marcia Claxton (incumbent)
Ward Two: Joe Behm (incumbent)Ward Three: Pamela Gould
Ward Four: Eric Scarbro and Laura Weinberg
