If you've been considering applying for this year's Leadership Golden class, it's time to do it. Applications close at the end of July.
This is a great program that will teach you all about Golden and show you how to get involved in the community. Over the course of nine months, they have sessions on government, history, culture, city finance, volunteering, and much more. They’re accepting applications now for the class that starts this fall. The class is free. They’ve offered this class every year (except 2020--the plague year) since 1984, and the alumni list is a Who’s Who of Who’s Making Golden Great.
Check the class sessions schedule to be sure you'll be able to attend all sessions before applying--and be sure to complete the entire application.
