Last night’s Colorado Cowboy Gathering sampler show was fantastic–delightful music and funny stories. Can’t wait to hear more over the weekend. They’ll have a number of daytime sessions today from 10-5PM, and this evening Al “Doc” Mehl will host a show featuring Carin Mari, Floyd Bear, Mary Blocker, Sam DeLeeuw, and Dave Stamey. The Cowboy Gathering is a fun way to get a taste of our western heritage. It’s always scheduled during the National Western Stock Show because a lot of those folks make the pilgrimage to Golden for these performances.
Councilor Casey Brown is having Coffee with a Councilor tomorrow (Saturday) morning from 10-11 at his house (1310 Cody Trail – map).
Come join me for Coffee with a Councilor in January to share your thoughts and concerns and hear about the latest happenings with the Golden City Council. For 2018, I’m experimenting with a new format I’m calling “councilor in your kitchen” where I’m seeking volunteers to host me and their neighbors at their home. If you provide the home, I’ll provide the coffee and conversation!
To kick this off, I’m hosting the Coffee with a Councilor for January at my house at 1310 Cody Trail at 10 a.m. on Saturday, January 20, 2018. All are welcome!
