6:30PM Historic Preservation Board Meeting @ City Hall
HPB will review their progress on last year’s goals and discuss their work plan for 2023. They are updating the City’s historic preservation guidelines to work with our new zoning code. They are also expanding the period considered “historic” to include architecture popular in the 1940s through ’70s. They have hired consultants to do an archeological survey of the Goosetown neighborhood (east of Ford Street, on either side of 10th) because the City hopes to build new municipal buildings in that area.
