Beer & Chili, Dinosaurs, & Pumpkins


The Golden Chamber’s ever-popular Beer Tasting & Chili Cook-Off happens tomorrow from 1-4PM in Parfet Park. Tickets will be $25 for chili only and $30 for both chili and beer tomorrow, but you can save $5 per ticket by buying them today, either online or at the Chamber Office (in the Visitors Center at 10th & Washington).  Some years, we’ve had snow for this event, but tomorrow should be a perfect fall day!


Tomorrow from 9-3 is a Dinosaur Discovery Day at Dinosaur Ridge.  It’s especially geared for Girl Scouts working on badges, but it’s open to the public.  There will be volunteer guides and special activities available.


Earth Sweet Botanicals is offering a cooking class tomorrow from 2-4PM: The Great Pumpkin.  Pumpkin season is upon us! This class offers all new recipes for using a variety of pumpkin and other winter squash. Enjoy the hearty, satisfying and warming flavors from the main course to drinks and dessert!
