The annual “Knock Your Boots Off Beer & Chili Festival” is this Saturday, October 11th. Hosted by the Golden Chamber, as so many fun things in this town are, this event draws a huge crowd, including a large contingent from the School of Mines. They will have more than 75 beers to taste. Not sure how many types of chili, because the applications are still coming up. Tickets are $25 (beer and chili) or $20 (chili only) in advance, and $5 more if you buy them on Saturday.
You can buy tickets, sign up to enter the chili competition, or sign up to volunteer at the event by visiting the Chamber’s website. Today is the last day to request that tickets be mailed to you.
