The City is holding an openhouse tonight, to gather public opinions on the “East Downtown Plan.” East downtown is the area along Jackson Street. There are no immediate plans to change anything–they just want to have a long-range vision in place in case any of the businesses in that area decide to move out or build anew. Do we want businesses there? Retail? Parks? A lightrail station? The openhouse will run from 6 to 8 at the community center.
The Buffalo Bill Saddle Club meets tonight at the Jeffco Fairgrounds. This group promotes family-oriented horse activities, including trail rides, gymkhanas, and social events. They welcome visitors.
