The 16th Annual Golden Community Rodeo Series starts tonight on Clear Creek and continues for the next two Wednesdays (June 20th and 27th). According to their website, Everyone is welcome to compete, no matter your skill level (sorry, no pros allowed)… or just come cheer on the boaters! First two evenings will be a freestyle competition. The CSM Geology Museum is about to present a series of EDTalks – Minerals Worth Sharing, presented by Ed Raines, the Museum’s Collections Manager and recognized expert on Colorado minerals and mining history. Ed will provide an in-depth look at important mining districts of Colorado focusing on their history and geology. Here’s the schedule of upcoming talks:
