Buffalo Bill trivia/story time in Parfet Park: 12-12:15, 1:15-2, and 4-4:30.
Here’s a good addition this year: the tents on the east side of the park will all be educational. Golden Landmarks will also be there, telling us about Golden history, and the Buffalo Bill Museum will also provide their expertise.
Non-Buffalo Bill Days News:
The Railroad Museum will be running one of their steam locomotives both Saturday and Sunday, so be sure you make it over there between 10 and 4 for a train ride!
There is no Golden Farmers Market this week. They’ll return next week.
However…Miller Farms (which sold at our Farmers Market for many years but is no longer there) plans to start selling their produce on Saturdays from 8-2 in the parking lot of the Methodist Church (1500 Ford Street). This is the Farm that sells the $10 bag of produce. They will be there today!
The Splash is also closed this weekend, because they’re hosting a swim meet.
Earth Sweet Botanicals has a cooking class this afternoon from 2-5: Raw Foods and Kitchen Knife Skills. Did you know that there are “raw foods” like baked cupcakes and baked casseroles? Raw foods are not just cold, hard vegetables. They are very exciting and extremely healthy for you. If you’re interested, call 303-278-1260 to see whether they still have room.
