Last night—at Golden Beer Talks—a group of us were discussing the M on Mount Zion, and the extra something-or-other that has appeared beneath it. From most parts of the city, the extra-whatever looks like a blob, but we were speculating that it said "150." The School of Mines is celebrating their 150th anniversary this year.
Chris Davell was on hand, and I knew he had great night photography skills, so I asked if he could get a good shot, and lay our wonderings to rest. He did! It does, indeed, say "150."
