Monday at 6:30 – Golden Urban Renewal Authority
GURA will be finalizing their 2013 budget tonight. They will discuss blight studies of both the Parfet property on 8th Street and the area near the bowling alley at 24th and Ford. They will discuss the East Downtown Plan, the Downtown Development plan, and a plan to change the 1% growth limit. Finally, they will consider a grant application from Foothills Art Center.
Tuesday at 6:30 – Economic Development Commission. The agenda is not yet online, but may be posted here before the meeting.
Wednesday at 7 – The Planning Commission will consider rezoning a site on 8th Street to allow construction of 10 townhouses.
Thursday at 7 – City Council will consider subdividing some land at Hwy 93 and Golden Gate Canyon Road, extending the concessionaire agreement with Three Tomatoes at Fossil Trace, and adopting a new tool on the city website to enable them to communicate with each other without violating the open meetings law. This will be followed by a study session covering the proposed DDA, the East Downtown plan, and downtown streetscape policies.
