This is Free Fishing Weekend! Today and tomorrow, anglers of all ages can fish without a license anywhere in the state this weekend. Grab your fishing pole and head down to the Creek!
The Golden Farmers Market opens today. They’ll be in the parking lot at 10th and Illinois from 8AM-1PM, selling fresh produce, flowers, local products, and delicious cuisine.
The Golden Seed Savers will have a plant sale and seed swap at the Golden Community Garden (map) starting at 8AM, until they run out of plants.
Yoga in the Park kicks off this morning at 9AM in Parfet Park. Teachers from Golden Yoga & Healing Arts will lead a class for all skill levels and all ages.
The Spring Whale of a Used Book Sale is open at the Jeffco Fairgrounds (map) from 9AM-5PM.
The Golden Super Cruise will be running tonight on South Golden Road, officially from 5-8:30PM, but you’ll see classic cars cruising around town all day.
Talk to the Government:
Congressman Ed Perlmutter will be at Natural Grocers (map) this morning from 10AM-noon. Government in the Grocery provides constituents with an easy and convenient way to meet one-on-one with Ed Perlmutter and his staff about issues, concerns, and needs.
Councilor Saoirse Charis-Graves will be at Bean Fosters (map) from 10-11AM for Coffee with a Councilor. She’ll be available to talk to constituents about any questions or concerns they have regarding Golden.
