Foothills Art Center will be offering several classes this month, including a 6-week watercolor class that begins tonight. This class will run from 5:30-8:30 over 6 Tuesdays, and the cost is $135 for members and $150 for non-members. All skill levels are welcome. Check the FAC website for additional upcoming classes.
Speaking of Foothills, you have only a few days left to see their “Victorian Salon” exhibit, which shows Victorian-era photographic techniques. Ambrotypes, collodion wet plate photographs, tintypes and photogravures are all featured in this fascinating exhibition. You’ll find this show in the Community Gallery in Foothills II–just south of the main Foothills building. The show closes this Friday, January 11th. Gallery hours are 10-5, Tuesday through Friday.
