The City has a bunch of openings coming up on various boards and commissions, including Sustainability (4 openings), DDA (1), Fire Pension Board (1), GURA (2), Historic Preservation (4), Investment Advisory Committee (2), Parks & Rec (1), Planning (4), and Public Art (1). They plan to hold an open house on Feb. 23rd, to allow interested applicants to learn more about the boards, meet city staff and current board members.
Applications are due to the City by 5PM on March 11th.
The County is also looking for volunteers to fill a number of board vacancies, including the Scientific and Cultural Facilities District Board, Metro Football Stadium District Board, Audit Committee, Sustainability Commission, Board of Health, Board of Review, Citizen Review Panel, Community Services Advisory Board, Developmental Disabilities Resource Board, Fairgrounds Advisory Committee, Historical Commission, Library Board, Open Space Advisory Committee, and the Tri-County Workforce Development Board.
