Councilor Saoirse Charis-Graves will lead a walk today on South Table Mountain and through the Rimrock/Southridge neighborhoods. The walk will combine some trail walking and some neighborhood street walking. The pace will be conversational and we will take the time to enjoy the views of Golden and any wildness (plant, animal or mineral) we see along the way. – Mileage: 2.5 – Difficulty: Intermediate (easy pace, some hiking) – Parking: There will be parking at the trailhead.
Schedule Note: We will meet at the trailhead for South Table Mountain Park (18th & Belvedere Streets – map) at 1:00pm, make introductions, answer questions and lightly warm up, leaving no later than 1:05pm. We will loop around, arriving back at the trailhead between 2:30 and 3:00 (depending on the desired pace of walkers). These walks are very informal and everyone is welcome to join.
