If you’ve ever considered volunteering with Jeffco Open Space, you should attend their open house at the Lookout Mountain Nature Center today between 10 and 2. They offer many options for volunteers, from observing wildlife and assisting visitors to bringing history to life. Staff members and volunteers will be on hand to help potential volunteers find positions that best suit their interests and schedules. JCOS accepts applications for a limited time before spring from potential volunteers who wish to join their ongoing programs.
