The Community Marketing Committee (Visit Golden) will review the budget and consider upcoming expenses. A payment of $25,300 will be due for maintenance of the VisitGolden.com website on October 1st. The annual cost for maintaining that site is $69,200, which includes "PPC mgt. maintenance, license, seo reporting, simple support, paid media mgt."
Since Golden already attracts capacity crowds during the summer, Visit Golden doesn't actively advertise during the summer. Instead the consultants begin lining up advertising and promotions for the shoulder and holiday seasons. See the meeting packet for more information.
