Frank Hanou reported that both ABC’s Good Morning America and the CBS Morning Show were in town to report on Golden's snowfall.
Golden meteorologist Greg Poulos took the following measurements in his yard:
27.6” storm total
21.5” on the level Friday morning on grass
3.17” liquid (rain plus melted snow)
Last 13” of snow fell at 13:1 (13″ snow per 1″ liquid).
Jeremy Keller and Liz Erickson both noticed a skier on Castle Rock.
