The City is offering a free Kid’s Bike Rodeo today between 10 and 4. Children do not need to bring bikes, but should bring helmets if they have them. Bicycle Colorado will assist with proper helmet fitting for children. This is a great opportunity for children to learn safety techniques. Bike rodeos are recommended for children ages 4 to 13. Bicycles and striders will be provided. Children can come anytime and go through the course as many times as they like! The Rodeo is held in the Coors Tek parking lot, at 10th and Jackson Streets (map).
The Jeffco 5 volunteers will be at the Library (1019 10th St.) between 10 and 2 today, collecting signatures to get their issue on the ballot. If you haven’t signed one of their petitions yet, please make sure you stop by the library and sign. Time is running out to gather the required 25,000 signatures.
The Golden Games continue today, so there will be action on the Creek from 10AM till 8PM.
