The City is accepting natural Christmas trees from now through January 27th. They’ll grind them into mulch, which will be available free to Golden residents in the spring. Learn more….
Speaking of Christmas…if you’re new to the area, you may not know about the local custom of displaying holiday lights until the National Western Stock Show is over. That will be January 27th this year. The City of Golden usually keeps our downtown lights up at least that long…sometimes as late as mid-February.
