The monthly North Golden Block Party takes place tonight at the Local Market in the Canyon Point shopping area. Local Market specializes in fresh, locally grown food. At their block parties, they invite their local food providers to come prepare some of their specialties. For instance, Loco Foods will be smoking a half pig and selling some awesome pork sandwiches. Agriburbia will be on hand to tell you about their farm just east of North Table Mountain. There’s a jumping castle for the kids (provided by Little Man Ice Cream), and a general good time. Stop by and see!
Then there’s the other party in town…! Buffalo Bill Days starts tonight in Parfet Park. Food and craft vendors will be there, kids rides, live music, and plenty of beer. Come down to Parfet Park (10th and Washington) and kick off Buffalo Bill Days!
