The Lookout Mountain Nature Center is holding their annual Wildflower Festival today from 11 to 4, with guided hikes at 11:30 and 2:30, and children’s puppet shows at 11:15 and 2:15. Take a ride up the Lariat Loop Trail and enjoy Rocky Mountain wildflowers at their peak! Admission is free.
The Rocky Mountain Quilt Museum has a guest speaker this afternoon at 2. Carolyn Miller will discuss her collection of late 19th Century Pennsylvania Quilts, which is the museum’s current exhibit. If you haven’t yet seen this spectacular collection, this would be a great opportunity. Admission is free for museum members, $10 for non-members.
