The Downtown Development Authority will meet tonight at 6:30 at the Public Works Building (1445 10th Street). They will discuss a grant request by the City to cover Movies and Music in the Park, which is held every August in Parfet Park. The City wants to bring in a special, more expensive group on August 17th. They will be showing Coco (which is based on the Mexican Day of the Dead) that night and want to have Fiesta Colorado perform for the music part of the evening. They will also review the reimbursement agreement with the Buffalo Rose.
The Mobility and Transportation Advisory Board is also meeting tonight, 6PM in the Public Works Building, 1445 10th Street, Golden, CO (map). They will review standards for crosswalks, Golden’s walkability plans, and discuss the plans for the new single track trails.
The Golden History Roundtable will hold their initial (planning) meeting tonight from 6-7:30 at the library. There will be no presentation tonight–the attendees will be considering future topics and presenters.
