If you’re going to the Golden Bike Cruise tonight, head to the parking lot west of the library. There will be food (Bob’s Atomic Burgers) and beer (New Terrain Brewing) starting at 6PM. They’ll be giving away one kids’ bike and one adult bike tonight. The ride will start at 7.
Pedal Pushers Cyclery at 710 Golden Ridge Rd. will host a bike flick starting at 8 tonight. “DeathGrip” is a film by Clay Porter & Brandon Fairclough. This is a free event. Bring your lawn chairs! Beer will be available at happy hour prices from Bikes & Beers.
The Weekend! Just a quick foretaste, with details to come. This will be a busy weekend in Golden. We won’t be having a First Friday Street Fair, as we’ve done the past few years, but there will be several Free Fun Friday events happening downtown, including live improv, face painting, music, and carriage rides! The first Golden Farmers Market of the season will take place on Saturday morning, and the Golden Super Cruise will be happening Saturday evening. The Library’s Spring Whale of a Used Book Sale will take place this weekend at the Jeffco Fairgrounds. There’s a lot more on the schedule.
