There will be a job fair for young adults from 1:30-5:30 today at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds (map). There will be employers ready to interview, a job readiness workshop, and a chance to consider career possibilities in emerging industries.
This afternoon at 5:30 the Golden History Center will offer a program about Women at the Colorado School of Mines. Dr. Cathy Skokan will provide her perspective as both a CSM alumnus and a faculty member. Cathy is also celebrated in GHM’s Face to Face exhibit, a collection of photographic portraits on display at the History Center.
