The January 4, 1978 Golden Transcript showed this house, which was being moved to make way for a pair of new dormitories on the School of Mines campus. Mines had a perennial housing shortage: a 1980 survey found that 32% of potential students had chosen a different school because of Mines’ lack of housing.
