The City plans to put “traffic calming” (center islands, narrower lanes, and vegetation to reduce visibility) on Eagle Ridge Drive midway between Entrada and Somerset. There will be another City meeting tomorrow night at 6, also at City Hall. This one concerns the West Fork Kenny Run Project. The project includes culvert replacement at 23rd and 24th streets and channel improvements in the area, to help with flood mitigation.
And here’s one more interesting upcoming event. Remember the house that the School of Mines was giving away, with the stipulation that the buyer had to move the house away from the campus? The move is happening tomorrow night. Local company “Easy Street Properties” bought the 1923 house, and they will be moving it tomorrow night. Check the Easy Street facebook page to learn more.
The Golden Cruise is tonight. People will start to gather in the parking lot next to the library at about 6. There will be live music, and tonight’s theme is “doctors and nurses.”
