We have some tough decisions to make tonight.
From 6 to 9 PM at the Mountaineering Center, renowned photographer John Fielder will be discussing issues affecting Colorado’s waterways, and showing his latest pictures. This event is sponsored by the Colorado Mountain Club and admission is free. Mr. Fielder will be signing books after the talk.
At 6:30, at Foothills Art Center, art historian Marianne Lorenz will discuss the career and artwork of Dale Chihuly. Admission for this event is $15 for Foothills members and $20 for non-members.
At 7 PM, City Council will meet at city hall. This week’s agenda includes recommendations from the Renewable Energy Technical Advisory Committee, a resolution regarding sidewalk sales and displays, and an intergovernmental agreement with the Fairmount Fire Protection District regarding fire protection services for the Coors Tech area. A study session after the business meeting will focus on bike and walking trails around Golden. The meeting will be broadcast live on cable channel 8 or through the city’s website.
