This is the last day to see Guys and Dolls at the High School (map), but you have two chances to do it–the matinee at 2PM and the evening show at 7.

The Golden Optimists Club is having an open house this afternoon from 1-5PM. This is a good opportunity to see their new(ish) workshop and learn about their bike program. They accept donated bikes, fix them up, and provide them to people who need bikes. They also work with the students at Connections Learning Center, teaching them bicycle repair…a total win-win.
I heard an interesting story this week on Colorado Public Radio about the origins of corned beef and cabbage at the archetypal St. Patrick’s Day meal…it may not be as Irish as you think!
