Golden River Sports will be offering demos of their equipment tonight, starting at 6, on Clear Creek.
City Council meets at 6:30 in City Council chambers. Tonight’s hot topic will be trash and recycling. The City had planned to require that all households participate in the City-negotiated Pay-As-You-Throw plan. After this decision was made, several homeowners associations objected to having participation mandated, as they felt they had better deals already in place. Council will take public comment tonight, and will decide whether to continue with the plan, delay it, or rescind it.
Council will also vote on whether to budget a standard amount ($50,000 is recommended) to be spent on public art each year. The Council meeting will be broadcast live through the city website.
Tomorrow night is the last Movies and Music in the Park, starting at 7 in Parfet Park.
