City Council meets tonight. They will interview candidates for the Sustainability Board from 6-7. The regular meeting begins at 7, and has a fairly short agenda, consisting of public comment, committee reports, a presentation about sustainable technology, and council/staff comments. That will be followed by a study session focusing on the FasTracks project (light rail). Watch the council meeting on cable channel 8 or on the City’s website.
The Colorado Environmental Film Festival starts tonight at 7, with a movie in the Foss Auditorium of the Mountaineering Center entitled “Switch.” It addresses the question, “What will it really take, to switch from oil and coal, to their alternatives?”.
