Thirsty Third Thursday is on hiatus for the summer, but head to the Mountaineering Museum tonight anyway because they’re hosting the third annual Bike Junkies party, starting at 6. The Golden Bike Shop sponsors this event, which is a fund-raiser for the museum. It includes a bike expo, food truck, movie and raffle. This will be followed by an after-party at Woody’s with $3 PBR tallboys and $3 Golden City Red pints.
Another good option tonight is Dinosaur Fun Night at Art on the Brix, starting at 6:30. They’ll be painting a fun, colorful version of an Iguanadon. This is a benefit for the Friends of Dinosaur Ridge.
For those of us with a rather specialized idea of fun, there’s a City Council meeting tonight at 7. You can watch it live on cable channel 8 or through the city website.
