The Summer Solstice Music Festival will take place this Saturday at the Clear Creek History Park. This is always a fun and popular annual event. Bring a blanket and enjoy grass seating as you listen to local bands, including She Said String Band, Adam Kinghorn Trio, The Mile Markers, and Mountain Holler. Local food vendors will be available as well as beverages from the Golden City Brewery. This is a benefit for the Golden History Museums. You can save on admission by purchasing tickets ahead of time at the Golden History Center. Tickets are $15 at the gate, but if you buy them by 4:30 Friday, you’ll pay $12 for adults, $10 for museum members and students, $5 for kids, and free for kids under 6.
