The beltway proponents are at it again! Their latest attempt to make the beltway a reality is a bill for the state legislature, creating a “Beltway Completion Authority” and granting them powers of “dominant eminent domain.” This would allow them to override the rights of other government entities, such as Golden. They could condemn any property, and build a beltway where ever they want! The City’s website has information about the proposed bill.
