If you have relatives in town, or just have the day off yourself, visit one of the museums.
- The Astor House is decorated for the holidays, and has holiday crafts and Victorian games ready to entertain you. The Golden history Center is exhibiting “Golden’s Musical Memories.”
- The nice weather makes it an exceptionally good day to visit the Railroad Museum.
- The Quilt Museum has a great exhibit of Star Quilts right now.
- If you haven’t visited the Buffalo Bill Museum for a while, you’ll be pleasantly surprised at the improvements in recent years. True West magazine named it the Museum of the Year in 2011.
- The School of Mines Geology Museum is open from noon till 4 today. That’s a great museum, and admission is FREE!
