It’s the weekend again! Last weekend was so frantic that you may actually be happy to have a little less going on.
There’s lots of Live Music in town this weekend, and it’s listed in today’s Golden Business News.
Today, there’s a Lego Mindstorms event a the library at 1PM. All ages are invited, and it’s a chance to learn a bit about programmable robotics. The Foothills Animal Shelter is holding their weekly low-cost vaccine, license, and microchip clinic from 4-5:30. The VFW (Post 4171, 15625 W. 10th Avenue–map) has dinner & darts, starting at 6 this evening.
Tomorrow (Saturday):
Preschool Nature Nuts at the Lookout Mountain Nature Center is full. Those events tend to fill up, so if you have a preschooler who would enjoy that, sign up as soon as you can. The next one will be “Dem Bones” on August 10th. Registration opens one month before the event.
The Farmers Market will run from 8AM-1PM.
Golden Gate Grange is hosting “The Magical History Tour: A Tribute to the Beatles.” Captain Quirk & Friends will perform a live concert. Food will be available from 12:30 p.m. and the music will run from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. A $10 donation per person for renovation projects at the Grange would be appreciated. The Golden Gate Grange is located at 25201 Golden Gate Canyon Road just 4 miles west of Route 93 in Golden. Map.
