Parade and Fireworks Tonight!

Both Golden High School and the Colorado School of Mines are celebrating Homecoming this weekend.  The High School will have a Homecoming Parade down Washington Avenue at 5 o’clock this afternoon.  The GHS Homecoming Football game will be played on the School of Mines football field, 12th and Maple, at 7.

The Mines soccer teams will also be playing tonight on the Mines campus–men at 5, and women at 7.  If soccer is your game of choice, head to the Mines Soccer Stadium to cheer them on!

Following the games, the City and the Lions Club will present a fireworks show.  This is the show we delayed at the 4th of July because of the dry conditions and fire danger at that time.  Stick around town tonight–we’ll have fun!
