This is the day we’ve all been waiting for: the PEEPle’s Choice Gala for the Peeps literary diorama contest at the library. Visit between 1 and 3 to see and celebrate tableaux out of books recreated with Peeps candy.
Tomorrow morning from 10-12:30, the City will be hosting a rally at the Visitors Center to celebrate the National Travel and Tourism Week (May 7-13, 2017). They’ll have small bites from Golden restaurants, western entertainment, representatives from Golden cultural organizations, and the bike library will be open. Golden’s museums will be FREE all day on Monday! This includes the American Mountaineering Museum, Buffalo Bill Museum and Grave, Colorado Railroad Museum, Colorado School of Mines Geology Museum, Foothills Art Center, Golden History Museum & Park, and the Rocky Mountain Quilt Museum.
