Support Golden Youth…and skip cooking dinner

This Thursday, February 19th, the Golden High School PTA will hold a fund raiser/chili cook-off.

Do you think you have the best chili in town? Sign up for our GHS Chili Cook-off. Prizes will be awarded for the top chili in each of 4 categories: red, green, white, and vegetarian. Cooks get in for free, but register online.

Can’t cook or just don’t have the time? Bring the family and have a delightful dinner tasting all the chili you can eat. Then vote for your favorite. Tickets are $5 in advance; $7 at the door.

Looking for great bargains? We have some amazing items at our Silent Auction. Our Golden area families and businesses have generously donated over $7,000 in gift cards, tickets, and services. Here are just a few:

Have something to donate? Our Silent Auction is the major source for funds at the once a year event. You can provide information on your donation online at: goldendemonspta.org/chili/ We use the funds for our Class Room Grants to provide equipment and supplies to our teachers. We have purchased books, funded science field trips, covered the cost of AP test fees for our students on free and reduced lunches, and much more. Last year we also awarded six $500 scholarships to our seniors.
