We have a lot of interesting things happening today.
First, the Farmers Market will be happening as usual from 8-1 at Illinois and 10th Street. Fresh produce, great food, free carriage rides!
The Quilt Museum is having a “Garage Sale” today in the alley behind the museum. You’ll find great deals on fabric, patterns, books, and arts and crafts supplies. That runs from 9-3.
The Lookout Mountain Nature Center is offering a program this morning at 9 about the geological process that created the Rocky Mountains and local features such as the hogback and North & South Table Mountain.
The Clear Creek History Park is running a special day of Golden Gate Canyon Games. Stop by and try the slipper kick and the rolling pin toss! They’ll have activities going all day, from 10-5.
Dinosaur Ridge offers a chance to learn about Geocaching today from 10-2. Bring your own GPS or borrow one from the USGS (deposit required). Use it to solve puzzles and track down treasures!
Be sure to stop by The Spot Bar & Grill today to enjoy Music for MS–a fund-raiser for the fight against multiple sclerosis. They’ll have live music, hot dogs, brats, beer, games, a dunk tank, the Silver Bullet Girls, a silent auction, and prizes. It runs from 11 am till 10 pm. It should be a lot of fun, and it’s certainly benefiting a worthy cause!
